Facials & Peels

Facials

Our Medical Grade facials restore and maintain healthy skin by unclogging pores and removing impurities through cleansing, steaming, and using a customizing peel suited for your individual skin type and needs. Medical grade extractions are also performed to create a pathway to clear out debris lodged deep under the skin’s surface. These types of extractions are performed in a medical practice by either a physician or licensed aesthetician and are by far the best option for those who may suffer from acne. When needed, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial serums can be used in combination with a healing mask that moisturizes and smooth’s the skin.

Peels

Our medical grade peels diminish and control melasma (dark skin discoloration), hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, uneven skin tone, and texture as well as will soften fine lines, unclog and shrink pores, and promote new collagen production giving skin that youthful glow. These skin peels allow better penetration of skin care products as well as help maintain the results from cosmetic and laser treatments.

Peels can vary in strength and are designed for all skin types to be used either on their own or in combination with other treatments. Our licensed aesthetician, Jeannel Astarita, is a skincare expert and will customize a treatment plan to best suit your individual needs. Options include light peels that keep your complexion looking its best with no downtime, but provide that “red carpet ready” look. These peels hydrate the skin and plump up fine lines, leaving your skin looking more firm and radiant. We also provide stronger peels that penetrate deep below the skin to generate more dramatic results. These strong peels may require some social downtime as the skin sheds and new skin is regenerated.

We also specialize in a series of gentle eye peels that address fine lines and wrinkles as well as dark pigmentation around the orbital bone, often known as “raccoon eyes”. These peels can also address dry areas on the lid and under the eye. Some peels we use in combination with IPL treatments and Radiesse or Sculptra injections to provide youthful hand rejuvenation.
All peels offer the best results with the fewest possible combinations when customized as part of your overall skincare needs by a professional. Click here to schedule your complimentary skincare analysis with Jeannel, our expert Aesthetician, to find out which treatment is right for you.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a deep surface exfoliation of the skin with the use of crystals and suction to help smooth and brighten thicker and more coarsely textured skin types. By breaking up and removing the superficial layer of the epidermis, the body regenerates newer skin to replace the lost cells with new and healthy ones. Many unsightly surface conditions can be improved with this procedure, including the removal of age spots, blackheads, whiteheads, and fine lines around the eyes, lips, and neck. Dull and rough textured skin will also be improved. In addition, the treatment can be used to reduce mild scarring and scaly skin lesions. In the first hour after treatment, mild swelling can occur causing redness and can last anywhere from an hour to two days. Microdermabrasion brightens and produces a more even complexion. This treatment is a wonderful choice for the back, which is often neglected. It can unclog the pores and minimizes pigmented acne scars resulting from what is known as “bacne”.
